  • From one truck to 50+: Celebrating 10 years of Jordan TM
Jordan TM Ltd · 2016–2026 · 10th anniversary

One driver. One truck. One ambition. A decade later, Jordan TM is a family-run haulage business serving customers across Great Britain — and our journey is far from over.

Every successful business has a story. Ours began in 2016, when Yordan Velkov set out with a single truck and the determination to build something lasting. Today, Jordan TM Ltd operates a modern haulage fleet from its headquarters in Bathgate, Scotland, with operations in Stoke-on-Trent and plans for further expansion.

Our tenth anniversary is an opportunity to recognise the people, partnerships and decisions that brought us this far — and to look ahead to the next chapter.

It all started with one truck

Before establishing Jordan TM, Yordan Velkov worked as a professional HGV driver, gaining experience and working towards owning his first vehicle. Starting a haulage business meant doing much more than driving: finding work, planning journeys, managing costs and building customer relationships were all part of the day-to-day challenge.

In the early days, every collection and delivery mattered. Making the most of return journeys and avoiding unnecessary empty mileage helped create a foundation for steady growth.

From our beginnings to today

The scale of our business has changed, but our priorities remain familiar: dependable transport, straightforward communication and relationships built on trust.

Growing our fleet, strengthening our team

Growing from one vehicle to a fleet of more than 50 HGVs takes careful planning, ongoing investment and a team that understands what reliable service means. Our modern fleet is supported by professional drivers, transport planners, managers, workshop staff and office colleagues working together across the business.

Trucks and trailers are essential, but the people behind them are what keep Jordan TM moving. Our drivers represent the company at collections, deliveries and customer sites across Great Britain every day.

If you treat your drivers well, then they’ll treat your customers well as well.

That belief reflects the connection between supporting our team and delivering a professional service to our customers.

Ten years, ten new trailers: A special anniversary investment

For our tenth anniversary, we wanted to mark the milestone with something that reflects both our history and our ambitions for the future.

Jordan TM has invested in 10 new Schmitz Cargobull trailers featuring a special tenth-anniversary livery. Daniel Velkov shared the announcement on LinkedIn, confirming that the final paperwork for the order had been signed.

For a business that started with one truck in 2016, this anniversary order is a proud reminder of how far we have come. We would also like to thank Kevin Wynd and the team at Schmitz Cargobull for their contribution to the project.

Nationwide haulage with a personal approach

Today, we provide general haulage services across Great Britain, including curtain-sided and box trailer transport for customers moving goods between suppliers, warehouses and distribution centres.

Our headquarters in Bathgate remains at the heart of the business, while our Stoke-on-Trent operation helps us serve customers across England and Scotland. We also offer warehousing facilities in Scotland to support customers with storage and distribution requirements.

National capacity. Personal service.

We combine the resources of a growing national fleet with the direct communication and accountability of a family-run business.

Whether we are supporting a regular distribution route or an individual transport requirement, our focus is the same: clear communication, practical planning and dependable service.

The partnerships that helped us grow

Growing a haulage company is about more than adding vehicles. It also means building long-term customer relationships, making effective use of the fleet and planning journeys efficiently.

One partnership that has played a part in our development is Haulage Exchange. During the early stages of the business, access to suitable loads and opportunities for return journeys helped us keep our vehicles working productively.

When one load becomes a long-term relationship

As highlighted in the Haulage Exchange case study, a customer relationship that began with individual bookings developed into regular work involving five or six loads per day. It shows how a single opportunity, backed by consistent service, can grow into something lasting.

The Trustd side of HX is immense. We know we’re dealing with professional companies similar to ourselves. The security alone is priceless.

For Jordan TM, that is what good partnerships are about: reliability, communication and the confidence to keep working together.

Looking ahead: Our next chapter

Our tenth anniversary is a milestone, not a finishing line. We continue to invest in our fleet, develop our operations and explore ways to serve customers even more effectively.

A key part of our plans is a new depot in Skelmersdale, Lancashire. The site is not yet operational, but it remains a firm part of our planned expansion. Once established, it will strengthen our presence in North West England and support the development of our national transport network.

As we move forward, our focus remains on responsible growth, the right people and equipment, and the standards our customers have come to expect.

Ten years on, the values remain the same

From Yordan Velkov’s first truck to more than 50 HGVs serving customers across Great Britain, every stage of our journey has been shaped by determination, teamwork and trust.

To our drivers, office and workshop teams, customers and business partners: thank you for being part of the Jordan TM story.

Ten years. More than 50 trucks. One team.

And we’re looking forward to the road ahead.
